8. Formal Translation And you shall command the priests carrying the ark of the covenant, saying, “When you arrive at the edge of the waters of the Jordan, in the Jordan you shall stand.” |
8. Dynamic Translation You are to tell the bearers of the Ark of the Covenant, “When you reach the bank of the Jordan River, stand in the river.” |
