10. Formal Translation The priests bearing the ark stood in the middle of the Jordan River until the point of completion of everything the LORD {Yahweh, Miracle Worker} had commanded Joshua to speak to the people, in keeping with all that Moses had commanded Joshua; and then the people hurried and crossed over. |
10. Dynamic Translation The priests carrying the ark remained standing in the heart of the Jordan until all that the LORD {Yahweh, Promise Keeper} had instructed Joshua to tell the people was complete, just as Moses had directed; the people crossed over. |
