25. Formal Translation But Joshua kept alive Rahab the prostitute, her father’s household, and all that belonged to her; and she has dwelled among Israel to this day because she hid the messengers whom Joshua sent to spy out Jericho. |
25. Dynamic Translation Joshua let Rahab the prostitute live with her entire household and all she owned. She still lives among the Israelites to this day because she hid the spies whom Joshua sent to scout Jericho. |
