26. Formal Translation And they set up over him a great heap of stones until this day, and the LORD {Yahweh, Anger Withdrawer} turned back from the burning of His anger. Therefore the name of that place was called the Valley of Achor until this day. |
26. Dynamic Translation They made a big pile of stones over him that remains to this day. Then the LORD {Yahweh, Restorer of Peace} stopped being angry. So that spot has been called the Valley of Trouble ever since. |
