Formal Translation For certain people have slipped in unnoticed, those long ago written about for this judgment, ungodly people turning the grace of our God {Theos, Provider of Mercy} into sensuality, and denying our only Master and Lord Jesus Christ {Kyrios Iesous Christos, Faithful Sovereign}. |
4. Dynamic Translation Some people have secretly slipped in among you. Long ago they were marked out for this condemnation—ungodly people who twist the grace of our God {Theos, Righteous Judge} into sensuality, and who reject our only Master and Lord Jesus Christ {Iesous Christos, Anointed Savior}. |
