35. Formal Translation And the Amorite persisted in dwelling in Mount Heres, in Aijalon, and in Shaalbim, but the hand of the house of Joseph pressed heavily, and they became subject to forced labor. |
35. Dynamic Translation The Amorites stubbornly remained in Mount Heres, Aijalon, and Shaalbim, but Joseph’s house prevailed, and the Amorites were driven into forced labor. |
