וַיַּעַבְר֤וּ{va-ya-a-ve-RU###vah-yah-ah-veh-ROO###and they crossed over} בְנֵֽי־עַמּוֹן֙{be-NEI-a-mo-ON###beh-NEE-ahm-moh-OHN###sons of Ammon} אֶת־הַיַּרְדֵּ֔ן{et-ha-yar-DEN###eht-hah-yahr-DEEN###the Jordan} לְהִלָּחֵ֛ם{le-hil-la-KHEM###leh-hihl-lah-KHEEM###to fight} גַּם־בִּיהוּדָ֥ה{gam-bi-ye-hu-DA###gahm-bih-yeh-hoo-DAA###also against Judah} וּבְבִנְיָמִ֖ין{u-ve-vin-ya-MIN###oo-veh-vihn-yah-MIHN###and against Benjamin} וּבְבֵ֣ית{u-ve-VEIT###oo-veh-VEET###and against the house of} אֶפְרָ֑יִם{e-fra-YIM###eh-frah-YIHM###Ephraim} וַתֵּ֥צֶר{va-TE-tsER###vah-TEE-tsehR###and it was distressed} לְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל{le-yis-ra-EL###leh-yihs-rah-EEL###to Israel} מְאֹֽד׃{me-OD###meh-OHD###greatly}
