29. Formal Translation And the Spirit of the LORD {Yahweh, Sovereign Inspirer} was upon Jephthah, and he crossed over Gilead and Manasseh, then he crossed over Mizpah of Gilead, and from Mizpah of Gilead he passed on to the sons of Ammon. |
29. Dynamic Translation Then the Spirit of the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Enabler} came upon Jephthah, and he journeyed through Gilead and Manasseh, passed through Mizpah of Gilead, and from there he advanced against the Ammonites. |
