| 9. Formal Translation He scraped it into his palms and continued on his way, eating as he went. When he came to his father and his mother, he gave them some, and they ate; but he did not tell them that he had scraped the honey from the carcass of the lion. |
| 9. Dynamic Translation He scooped the honey into his hands and walked along, eating it. Later he reached his father and mother and shared some with them, and they ate as well. But he did not tell them that the honey came from the lion’s dead body. |
