| 21. Formal Translation And the Philistines seized him, gouged out his eyes, brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with bronze shackles. He became a grinder in the house of the prisoners. |
| 21. Dynamic Translation The Philistines captured him, gouged out his eyes, took him down to Gaza, and chained him with bronze fetters. He was made to grind grain in the prison. |
