7. Formal Translation And the people served the LORD {Yahweh, Covenant Guardian} all the days of Joshua and all the days of the elders who prolonged their days after Joshua and had seen all the great work that He had done for Israel. |
7. Dynamic Translation The people continued worshipping the LORD throughout Joshua’s lifetime and through the years of the elders who outlived him and witnessed all the LORD’s {Yahweh, Miracle Worker} deeds for Israel. |
