10. Formal Translation And the Spirit of the LORD {Yahweh, Empowering Sovereign} was upon him, and he judged Israel and went out to battle. And the LORD gave Cushan-Rishathayim, king of Aram, into his hand, and his hand prevailed against Cushan-Rishathayim. |
10. Dynamic Translation The LORD’s {Yahweh, Rescuer} Spirit came upon him, so he served as Israel’s judge and led them into battle. The LORD handed Cushan-Rishathayim, king of Aram, over to him, and he overpowered him. |
