12. Formal Translation
And the sons of Israel again did evil in the eyes of the LORD {Yahweh, Righteous Judge}, and the LORD strengthened Eglon, king of Moab, against Israel because they had done evil in the eyes of the LORD.
12. Dynamic Translation
Once again the Israelites did what was evil in the sight of the LORD {Yahweh, Justice Enforcer}, and the LORD strengthened Eglon against Israel because they had done what was evil in the eyes of the LORD.
