6. Formal Translation
In the days of Shamgar son of Anath, in the days of Jael, highways ceased, and the walkers of paths walked on winding paths.
6. Dynamic Translation
During the days when Shamgar, the son of Anath, and Jael lived, main roads lay deserted, forcing travelers onto winding detours and lesser-used routes.
