24. Formal Translation So Gideon built an altar there to the LORD {Yahweh, Peace Giver}, and he called it “The LORD is Peace.” It remains in Ophrah of the Abiezrite clan to this day. |
24. Dynamic Translation Gideon built an altar to the LORD {Yahweh, Bringer of Peace} there and named it “The LORD is Peace.” It still stands in Ophrah, the town of Abiezer’s family, to this very day. |
