26. Formal Translation And you shall build an altar to the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Covenant Enforcer} on the top of this stronghold, in the proper arrangement. Then you shall take the second bull and offer it as a burnt offering with the wood of the Asherah you cut down. |
26. Dynamic Translation Build a proper altar for the LORD your God {Yahweh Eloheikha, Divine Commander} at the top of this fortress. Then take the second bull, and using the wood from the Asherah you cut down, sacrifice it as a burnt offering. |
