37. Formal Translation
Behold, I am placing a fleece of wool on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece by itself, and all the land is dry, then I will know that You {Yahweh, Sovereign Deliverer} will save Israel by my hand, as You have spoken.
37. Dynamic Translation
Look, I am putting a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew just on the fleece alone while the ground is dry, then I will know that You {Yahweh, Faithful Rescuer} will save Israel by my hand, just as You said.
