Source Text: Hebrew (WLC) Judges 7:11:1 ⧉וְשָֽׁמַעְתָּ֙veshamataand you will hear Judges 7:11:2 ⧉מַה־יְדַבֵּ֔רוּmayedaberuwhat they will speak Judges 7:11:3 ⧉וְאַחַר֙veakharand afterward Judges 7:11:4 ⧉תֶּחֱזַ֣קְנָהtekhezaknawill be strengthened Judges 7:11:5 ⧉יָדֶ֔יךָyadekhayour hands Judges 7:11:6 ⧉וְיָרַדְתָּ֖veyaradtaand you will go down Judges 7:11:7 ⧉בַּֽמַּחֲנֶ֑הbamakhaneinto the camp Judges 7:11:8 ⧉וַיֵּ֤רֶדvayeredand he went down Judges 7:11:9 ⧉הוּא֙huhe Judges 7:11:10 ⧉וּפֻרָ֣הufuraand Purah Judges 7:11:11 ⧉נַעֲר֔וֹnaarohis young man or servant Judges 7:11:12 ⧉אֶל־קְצֵ֥הelketseto the edge Judges 7:11:13 ⧉הַחֲמֻשִׁ֖יםhakhamushimthe armed men Judges 7:11:14 ⧉אֲשֶׁ֥רasherwho or which Judges 7:11:15 ⧉בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃bamakhanein the camp |
11. Formal Translation And you shall hear what they are saying, and afterward your hands will be strengthened, and you shall go down into the camp. Then he and Purah his servant went down to the edge of the armed men who were in the camp. |
11. Dynamic Translation When you listen to what they are saying, you will then feel your strength return and go down into the camp. Then he and Purah his servant went down to the outposts of the guards in the camp. |
