27. Formal Translation And Gideon made it into an ephod and placed it in his city, in Ophrah. And all Israel prostituted themselves after it there, and it became a snare to Gideon and to his house. |
27. Dynamic Translation Gideon fashioned the gold into an efod and placed it in his hometown, Ophrah. All Israel worshiped it there idolatrously, and it became a snare for Gideon and his household. |
