11. Formal Translation My eyes are worn out with tears, my inward parts are troubled, my liver is poured out to the ground because of the destruction of the daughter of my people, as infant and suckling faint in the city streets. |
11. Dynamic Translation My eyes have failed from weeping, and my inward parts churn within me. My liver feels poured out onto the ground because my people’s daughter is shattered, while little children and babies faint in the streets. |
