| 11. Formal Translation For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and I {Yahweh, Atoning Provider} have given it to you on the altar to make atonement for your lives; for the blood makes atonement by means of the life. |
| 11. Dynamic Translation The life of the body is in its blood. I {Yahweh, Life Sustainer} have given the blood to you to make atonement on the altar for your lives, because blood atones through life itself. |
