Then He {Iesous, Divine Teacher} spoke this parable: “A certain man had a fig tree in his vineyard, and he came looking for fruit on it but found none.”

He {Iesous, Parable Giver} told them a story: “A man had a fig tree growing in his vineyard, and he came to look for fruit on it, yet he found nothing.”
