8. Formal Translation
Whenever someone invites you to a wedding feast, avoid reclining at the place of highest honor, lest someone more honorable than you may have been invited by him.
8. Dynamic Translation
If you receive an invitation to a wedding, do not claim the best seat at the table, because someone more important than you may have been invited by him.
