And they began to accuse Him, saying, “We found this man perverting our nation and forbidding to pay taxes to Caesar, and saying that He is Christ {Christos, Alleged Messiah}, a king.”
2. Dynamic Translation
Then they started accusing Him: “We have discovered this man misleading our nation and telling people not to pay taxes to Caesar, and even saying that He is the Messiah {Christos, Promised King}, a king.”
