14. Formal Translation And soldiers who were serving asked him, “What then shall we do, we as well?” And he said to them, “Do not extort anyone, do not accuse falsely, and be content with your wages.” |
14. Dynamic Translation Soldiers also questioned him, “And what about us? What should we do?” He answered, “Do not extort money from anyone, do not make false accusations, and be satisfied with your pay.” |
