24. Formal Translation But so that you may know that the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Messianic Judge} has authority on earth to forgive sins, He said to the paralyzed man, “I say to you; Get up; take up your bed; and go to your house.” |
24. Dynamic Translation But in order for you to know that the Son of Man {huios tou anthropou, Human Representative} has the power on earth to forgive sins, He spoke to the paralyzed man: “Stand up, lift your stretcher, and go home.” |
