22. Formal Translation And having answered, He {Iesous, Commissioning Lord} said to them, “Go and report to John what you have seen and heard: the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the poor have good news preached to them.” |
22. Dynamic Translation He {Iesous, Compassionate Healer} replied, “Go back and tell John what you saw and heard: the blind now see, those who could not walk are walking, those with leprosy are made clean, the deaf can hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is being announced to the poor.” |
