8. Formal Translation Will a man rob God {Elohim, Righteous Owner}? For you are robbing Me. But you say, “How have we robbed You?” In the tithe and the offering. |
8. Dynamic Translation Can a person really steal from God {Elohim, Divine Possessor}? Yet you are stealing from Me. But you ask, “How did we steal from You?” By withholding your offering along with the tithe. |
