If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I admit that I have sinned and often resisted your truth. I cannot make myself right with God. Lord, revive your Church where we have become silent to avoid discomfort. Give us courage like John to speak what is true, humility to speak it with love, and faithfulness to keep going when the truth is unwelcome. Make us a people who honor your ways more than human approval, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Our Courage to Speak Truth

Father, I confess that I often stay quiet when I should speak, and I sometimes soften truth to protect myself. Forgive me for fear of people and for choosing ease over faithfulness. Give me a clean heart and a steady tongue, and help me repent where I have ignored your boundaries, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Name the person and the issue before God. Ask him for courage, clarity, and gentleness. Pray that your words would be true, respectful, and not driven by anger or pride.

Pray over these: courage to keep speaking what is right; humility to receive correction; love that tells the truth without cruelty; patience when obedience is costly.

Growing in Truth and Tenderness

Father, I pray for people who need to hear a hard truth today. Give them humility without humiliation, courage without pride, and grace to respond well. Let honesty lead to healing and not to bitterness, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
