The joy over the recovered one is greater than the joy over the ninety-nine who stayed safe

Rejoice Over the One Who Returns

Thank you, Lord, that you do not despise the one who has wandered and come back. Thank you that restoration brings you joy, and that your welcome reaches people who thought they were too far gone. We bless your mercy and your delight in the recovered one.

Gratitude for Your Joy in Restoration

Father, I pray for the people who have drifted from you. Draw them home, remove shame, and place patient believers around them who will rejoice when they return. Heal what is broken and let their coming back be met with joy, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Bring the Wanderer Home

Bring before God your habit of measuring people by numbers, status, or how long they have stayed. Ask him to grow in you a heart that celebrates restoration, notices the one who returns, and does not overlook anyone he has brought back.

A Heart That Values the One

Pray by naming one person who has wandered, asking God to lead them home, and then asking for one concrete way you can welcome and support them this week.
