The person will be given more time with no change

waiting for a public apology before forgiving

Release the offense sincerely from within

Stay polite in public while keeping the hurt alive

Wait for the other person to earn it first

Say the words of forgiveness but keep the wound on record

If you would like to receive Jesus, pray this with me: Lord Jesus, I confess that I have sinned and that I need your mercy. I have held on to unforgiveness, and I cannot make my heart clean by myself. I believe you died for my sins and rose again. I turn from my sin and receive your forgiveness. Mercy for My Unforgiving Heart

Lord, revive your Church to forgive from the heart. Heal hardened places, break bitterness between your people, and make us quick to release offenses as we have received your mercy. Let our unity and mercy show the world your life, in the name of Jesus. Amen.
