Give him first place in decisions, worship, and loyalties.

Keep him as a helpful advisor, but reserve final say for yourself.

Wait for a dramatic sign before obeying what he already said.

Treat his reign as a future idea that makes no difference now.

Come Under Your Lordship

Lord, wake up your Church to honor Jesus as the one who reigns in glory at your right hand. Forgive us for living as though his rule were distant or optional. Give us reverence, obedience, and bold hope until every enemy is brought low, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Revive Your Church to Honor the King

Thank God for seating Christ in the place of honor, for the certainty that his rule is not fragile, and for the hope that hostile powers will not last forever.

Pray by naming one area of life where you resist Christ's rule, asking God to show it clearly, and then asking for grace to submit that area to Jesus today.

Ask to Yield One Area

Pray for someone facing opposition, pressure, or spiritual attack: that Christ would uphold them, put what is against them beneath his feet, and give them steady courage.

For Those Under Hostile Pressure

Praise the Lord for his authority, his honored place, and his sure victory over every enemy. Lift up his name as the one who speaks, rules, and will not fail.
