| 22. Formal Translation And the one who swears by heaven swears by the throne of God {Theos, Ultimate Witness}, and by Him who sits upon it. |
| 22. Dynamic Translation So whoever makes an oath by heaven is really making that oath by the throne of God {Theos, Supreme King} and by the One who sits there. |
