29. Formal Translation
And after weaving a crown of thorns, they set it on His {Iesous, Humiliated Messiah} head, and they put a reed in His right hand; then they knelt before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
29. Dynamic Translation
They twisted together a crown of thorns and placed it on His {Iesous, Rejected King} head, and they put a stick in His right hand. Kneeling in front of Him, they mocked Him: “Greetings, King of the Jews!”
