9. Formal Translation And do not think to say within yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father,’ for I say to you that God {theos, Sovereign Creator} is able from these stones to raise up children for Abraham. |
9. Dynamic Translation So do not imagine you can say to yourselves, ‘Abraham is our father,’ because I tell you that God {theos, Life-Giving Creator} has the power to create children for Abraham even from these stones. |
