3. Formal Translation With both hands they are eager to do evil; the prince makes demands, the judge requires a bribe, and the great man speaks the desire of his soul—and together they weave it into a scheme. |
3. Dynamic Translation They apply both hands to carry out wrongdoing; the ruler solicits bribes, the judge accepts payoffs, and the powerful man voices whatever his heart desires, and together they plot it all out. |
