37. Formal Translation And at the Fountain Gate, in front of them, they went up by the steps of the City of David, ascending to the wall above the House of David, and on to the Water Gate eastward. |
37. Dynamic Translation At the Fountain Gate, the group climbed the stairway near the City of David, followed the rising path of the wall above the House of David, and continued until they reached the Water Gate on the east. |
