22. Formal Translation And I said to the Levites that they should purify themselves and come to guard the gates, to sanctify the Sabbath day. Also this, remember me, my God {Elohai, Covenant Faithfulness}, and have compassion on me according to the greatness of your mercy. |
22. Dynamic Translation I instructed the Levites to purify themselves and then to come and guard the gates, so that the Sabbath day would be kept holy. Also remember this for me, my God {Elohai, Personal Protector}, and show mercy to me according to your great love. |
