5. Formal Translation And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, and if your servant has found favor before you, let me be sent to Judah, to the city of the graves of my fathers, so that I may rebuild it.” |
5. Dynamic Translation I replied to the king, “If this is good in your sight, and if your servant is approved by you, send me to Judah—to the city of my ancestors—and I will rebuild it.” |
