6. Formal Translation And the king said to me—while the consort sat beside him—“How long will your journey be and when will you return?” It pleased the king to send me, and I appointed for him a time. |
6. Dynamic Translation Then the king—his queen sitting beside him—asked me, “How long will your trip take and when will you come back?” The king was pleased and sent me, and I gave him a date. |
