Proverbs 12:11:1עֹבֵ֣דovedone working or cultivating
Proverbs 12:11:2אַ֭דְמָתוֹadmatohis ground or his land Proverbs 12:11:3יִֽשְׂבַּֽע־לָ֑חֶםyisbealakhemwill be satisfied with bread Proverbs 12:11:4וּמְרַדֵּ֖ףumeraddefbut one pursuing Proverbs 12:11:5רֵיקִ֣יםrekimemptinesses or worthless things Proverbs 12:11:6חֲסַר־לֵֽב׃khasarlevlacking heart or lacking sense
11. Formal Translation
The one who works his land will be satisfied with bread, but whoever pursues empty things is lacking heart.
11. Dynamic Translation
Anyone who farms his own ground will have plenty of food, but chasing after empty pursuits shows a lack of understanding.
