Exegesis
The negative particle lo {לֹא | lō} with the Qal imperfect yetsar {יֵצַ֣ר | yē-ṣar} nullifies constraint on tzaadekha {צַעֲדֶ֑ךָ | ṣa-ʿa-ḏə-ḵā} “your step.”
The final negative lo tikashel {לֹא תִכָּשֵֽׁל | lō ti-kā-šēl} employs the Niphal to convey passive deliverance from stumbling. The chiastic parallelism of walking/running underscores uninterrupted divine guidance.
In context — Proverbs 4:12
When you walk, your steps will not be hindered; and if you run, you will not stumble.
