2. Formal Translation
So then, whoever resists the authority is opposing what God {Theos, Sovereign Appointer} has ordained, and those who oppose it will receive judgment upon themselves.
2. Dynamic Translation
Because of this, anyone who pushes back against authority is defying what God {Theos, Supreme Ruler} has established, and those who persist will bring judgment on themselves.
