| 6. Formal Translation The one who considers the day, considers it for the Lord {Kyrios, Focus of Devotion}; and the one who eats, eats for the Lord, for he gives thanks to God {Theos, Receiver of Thanks}; and the one who does not eat, for the Lord he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God. |
| 6. Dynamic Translation Whoever observes the day does so for the Lord {Kyrios, Revered Authority}; whoever eats, eats for the Lord, because they give thanks to God {Theos, Generous Provider}; and whoever does not eat, they abstain for the Lord and they give thanks to God. |
