11. Formal Translation
And he received the sign of circumcision as a seal of the righteousness that came from the faith he had while uncircumcised, so that he would be father to all who believe while uncircumcised, and righteousness might be credited to them as well.
11. Dynamic Translation
He received circumcision as a sign, a seal showing the righteousness that comes from faith, even when uncircumcised, making him the father of everyone who believes without being circumcised, so that righteousness can also be counted to them.
