A second purpose clause hína génētai kath’ huperbolḗn hamartōlòs hē hamartía diá tês entolḗs {ἵνα γένηται καθʼ ὑπερβολὴν ἁμαρτωλὸς ἡ ἁμαρτία διὰ τῆς ἐντολῆς | hína génētai kath’ huperbolḗn hamartōlòs hē hamartía diá tês entolḗs} reveals that through the commandment sin becomes exceedingly sinful.
