They profess to know God {Theos, Professed yet Denied}, but by their works they deny Him, being detestable and disobedient, and unqualified for every good work.

They claim to know God {Theos, Denied Lord}, but their actions show that they reject Him, disgusting and disobedient, totally unfit for any good deed.
