8. Formal Translation On that day, the LORD {Yahweh, Divine Protector} will defend the inhabitant of Jerusalem, and the one who stumbles among them on that day shall be like David, and the house of David shall be like God {Elohim, Divine Judge}, like the angel of the LORD who goes before them. |
8. Dynamic Translation On that day, the LORD {Yahweh, Mighty Defender} will shield those living in Jerusalem. Even the weakest among them that day will be as strong as David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel who leads them. |
