14. Formal Translation For thus says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Commander of Armies}, just as I purposed to bring disaster upon you when your fathers provoked Me, and I did not relent, says the LORD of hosts. |
14. Dynamic Translation This is what the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Disciplinary Power} declares: When your ancestors provoked Me, I determined to punish you, and I did not change My mind. |
