4. Formal Translation Thus says the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Commander of Armies}: aged men and women will once again sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each with a staff in hand because of their many days. |
4. Dynamic Translation This is what the LORD of hosts {Yahweh Tsevaot, Protector of Jerusalem} says: once more aged men and women will sit in the streets of Jerusalem, each holding a staff because they will live many days. |
